Anderson Leads Women’s Golf on Day 2 at Louisville

Final round will be played Tuesday as Cardinals close fall campaign

SIMPSONVILLE, Ky. -- Sydney Anderson led the Ball State women's golf team Monday with a 78 in round two of Louisville's Cardinal Cup.
The tournament at UofL Golf Club features 11 of the top 100 teams in the country and eight of the nation's top 100 players.
Seventh-ranked Florida State continues to lead with a 36-hole total of 593, while Wisconsin (597), Kentucky (603) and Illinois (604) are all within 11 shots.
Brooke Ferrell of Wisconsin holds a one-stroke advantage on the individual leaderboard at 1 under par.
Ball State posted a team score of 327 in Monday's round and sits in 17th place with a two-day total of 651. In addition to Anderson's78, the Cardinals also counted an 81 from Morgan Nadaline and 84s from Kelsey Sear and Allison Lindley on day two.
