Women’s Golf Set for Strong Field at Louisville

Action gets underway Sunday at UofL Golf Club

The Ball State women's golf team will close out its fall schedule this week against a field that features 11 top-100 teams at Louisville's Cardinal Cup.
The tournament begins Sunday and features 54 holes over three days at UofL Golf Club in Simpsonville, Kentucky. Live scoring is available at golfstat.com.
Seventh-ranked Florida State headlines the event, while five other top-50 teams will also be competing: No. 22 Illinois, No. 33 East Carolina, No. 42 Wisconsin, No. 48 Kentucky and No. 50 Louisville.
The 16-team field also includes Maryland, Columbia, Middle Tennessee, Virginia Tech, Minnesota, Kansas, Cincinnati, Richmond and Bradley.
Ball State's lineup this week will feature Kelsey Sear, Manon Tounalom, Sydney Anderson, Allison Lindley and Morgan Nadaline.
Sear led the Cardinals with a tie for 21st in their most recent action at Toledo's Rocket Classic. Ball State finished ninth as a team in that event after back-to-back top-4 finishes in their previous two tournaments.
The Cardinal Cup gets underway Sunday at 10 a.m. Ball State's tee times begin at 10:45 a.m.
