Dohanics, Ranked in ITA Preseason Tennis Poll

MUNCIE, Ind. - Ball State women's tennis freshman Isabelle Dohnanics has been ranked in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's preseason poll to start the 2016 spring campaign.
"It's great to have one of our players in the ITA national singles rankings, Ball State head women's tennis coach Max Norris said. "This is something for Isabelle to be proud of but it's also something to motivate her going forward. Moreover, this is exciting to everyone in our program because we push and support each other everyday and will do so all season long."
Dohanics, becomes the first Cardinal ever to earn an ITA preseason ranking. She sits at 114th and is the only Mid-American Conference player in the top 125. Dohanics posted a 6-0 singles mark during fall action this season.
The Ball State women's tennis team opens fall play Saturday, Jan. 16 at Big Ten foe Purdue. First Serve is at 3 p.m.
