McCormick Clouser Named Academic All-MAC

MUNCIE, Ind. -- Ball State's McCormick Clouser was named Monday to the Academic All-Mid-American Conference Team for men's golf for the second straight year.
Clouser graduated this spring with a 3.711 grade point average in economics. The Bluffton, Ind., product was a second-team All-MAC selection and a four-time MAC Golfer of the Week in 2014-15.
Clouser led Ball State with a 73.84 stroke average and three top-5 finishes on the season. He managed his first collegiate win at Notre Dame's Fighting Irish Golf Classic and recorded 13 rounds of even par or better, including five rounds in the 60s.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To be named to the team, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of his team's contests.
