Women?s Golf Completes Opening Day in Texas

NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas -- The Ball State women's golf team opened the spring portion of its schedule Sunday at the Delta Gamma Challenge.
The Cardinals are in 14th place after two rounds with a score of 634 (320-314) at Landa Park Golf Club. Allison Lindley is the top Ball State golfer individually at 155 (77-78).
Idaho and UALR are tied for the team lead at 575 with one round to play. Lora Assad of Texas State, Sabrina Bonanno of UALR and Aislynn Merling of Youngstown State sit atop the individual leaderboard at 140.
Meghan McDougall (158), Karley Dobis 160), Jenna Hague (164) and Kelsey Sear (164) round out the Ball State lineup. Morgan Nadaline (172) is competing as an individual.
The final round will be played Monday at 8:30 a.m. CT (9:30 ET). Live scoring is available at birdiefire.com.
