MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State men's basketball program in partnership with the U.S. Marine Corps League Mounds Detachment from Anderson will be hosting Toys for Tots Military and Public Safety Appreciation Day presented by the Muncie Visitors Bureau on Dec. 12 at Worthen Arena.
The Cardinals are scheduled to host Pepperdine at 1 p.m.

Ball State students are encouraged to participate, as well, with 50 student rewards bonus points accumulated with a donated toy.
Fans may drop-off their donated toys inside the ground level lobby of Gate 1 at Worthen Arena beginning at noon on game day and will be accepted until 2 p.m. Those unable to attend the game may drop-off a donated toy at the same location on Friday, Dec. 11, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
The mission of the U. S. Marine Corps League Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community in which the campaign is conducted. The Mounds Detachment is the official Toys for Tots coordinator for Delaware County and in 33 years as a partner has collected and distributed more than 170,000 toys to more than 56,000 children in Muncie, Anderson and all of Delaware County.
