Soccer Places Seven on Academic All-MAC Team

MUNCIE, Ind. -- Ball State had seven representatives on the 2015 Academic All-Mid-American Conference Women's Soccer Team announced Tuesday.
Student-athletes with a 3.20 GPA who participate in at least 50 percent of their team's games are named to the team. First-year players and junior college transfers are not eligible.
Seniors Lauren Hall and Elaina Musleh and juniors Leah Mattingly, Chay McNitt and Gabby Veldman were named to the team for the second straight year.
Sophomores Alyssa Heintschel and Lucy Walton were named to the team in the first year they were eligible. Heintschel, who was also a CoSIDA Academic All-District selection, was one of 11 players from around the league named to the team with a perfect 4.0 GPA.
Ball State went 14-3-3 this season and won the MAC regular season championship.
