Women?s Golf Finishes Sixth at Bearcats Fall Classic

MAINEVILLE, Ohio -- The Ball State women's golf team closed out the UC Bearcats Fall Classic at TPC River's Bend in sixth place Tuesday.
Led by Allison Lindley's 76, the Cardinals posted a final-round score of 314 to bring their 54-hole total to 955.
Tournament host Cincinnati finished at the top of the eight-team field with a total of 898 (+34), while Eastern Kentucky (+47) and Louisville (+49) rounded out the top three.
Ball State also counted a pair of 79s from Kayla Adamson and Morgan Nadaline and an 80 from Kelsey Sear in Tuesday's final round.
Lindley was the team's top finisher in a tie for 20th at 237 (+21). She was joined in the top 30 by Adamson (239) in 25th and Nadaline (242) in a tie for 29th.
Cincinnati's Tara Liebert was the individual medalist, defeating Louisville's Ellen Kehoe on the first playoff hole after both players finished regulation at 221 (+5).
Ball State will return to action next week close to home. The team will play Sunday and Monday in The Preview at Purgatory Golf Club in Noblesville, site of next spring's Mid-American Conference Championships.
