Women?s Golf Wraps up Fall Campaign in Louisville

SIMPSONVILLE, Ky. -- The Ball State women's golf team closed out the final event of its fall schedule Tuesday at Louisville's Cardinal Cup.
Morgan Nadaline led Ball State in the final round with a 76 at the University of Louisville Golf Club. The Cardinals closed with a round of 317 as a team to post a 54-hole total of 929 and finish in 14th place.
Louisville won the event by 11 strokes on its home course at 878 (+14). Florida State (+25) was second, followed by Chattanooga (+31),Wisconsin (+32) and Virginia Tech (+33). The event featured a strong field with nine of the top 80 teams in the Golfweek national rankings.
Nadaline, who carded a career-low 70 in the first of the tournament's three rounds, was Ball State's top finisher. She tied for 34th with a total of 229 (+13).
Brooke Ferrell of Wisconsin and Jacqueline Chulya of Columbia shared medalist honors at 213 (-3).
In addition to Nadaline's 76, Ball State also counted a 79 from Allison Lindley, an 80 from Kayla Adamson and an 82 from Kelsey Sear in Tuesday's final round. Lindley (233) finished in 54th place, followed by Adamson (234) in 57th, Sear (237) in 65th and Sydney Anderson (245) in 74th.
Ball State will return to action beginning in February. The Cardinals start the spring portion of their schedule Feb. 12-14 at the Eagle Invitational in Estero, Fla.
