Women?s Golf Part of Strong Field at Louisville

MUNCIE, Ind. -- The Ball State women's golf team will close out its fall schedule among a strong field at Louisville's Cardinal Cup.
The 54-hole event begins Monday at the University of Louisville Golf Club in Simpsonville, Ky. Live scoring is available at golfstat.com.
The tournament features nine of the top 80 teams in the Golfweek national rankings -- No. 20 Louisville, No. 23 East Carolina, No. 32 Notre Dame, No. 42 Illinois, No. 47 Florida State, No. 55 Indiana, No. 68 Virginia Tech, No. 72 Chattanooga and No. 77 Wisconsin.
The 14-team field also includes Bradley, Cincinnati, Columbia and Richmond.
Ball State's lineup will again feature Allison Lindley, Kelsey Sear, Sydney Anderson, Kayla Adamson and Morgan Nadaline.
Lindley led Ball State last week at The Preview, posting the best finish of her collegiate career with a tie for third place. The Cardinals had their best result of the season to this point, placing fifth at Purgatory Golf Club in Noblesville.
The Cardinal Cup gets underway Monday with an 8:55 a.m. shotgun start. The teams will play 36 holes Monday and the final 18 holes Tuesday.
