Soccer Places 11 on Academic All-MAC List

MUNCIE, Ind. – Ball State had 11 representatives on the 2014 Academic All-Mid-American Conference Women's Soccer Team announced Monday.
Student-athletes with a 3.20 GPA who participate in at least 50 percent of their team's games are named to the team. First-year players and junior college transfers are not eligible.
All-MAC selections Leah Mattingly and Madison Oyer earned spots on the list along with senior captains Victoria Jacobs, Nicole Pembleton and Cailey Starck.
Ball State is coming off an 11-7-2 season and its second straight appearance in the semifinals of the MAC Tournament. The Cardinals finished the year among the top 100 in the NCAA RPI rankings.
