Sports Link Televising Soccer Senior Day Saturday

MUNCIE, Ind. – It will be an action-packed Saturday at the Briner Sports Complex as the Ball State soccer team celebrates Senior Day and Youth Soccer Month in a televised game with Jacksonville State.
Like always, admission is free. The game is set for 2 p.m. and will be televised by Ball State Sports Link throughout the state on Comcast Indiana 81.
Before the game, the Cardinals will recognize their six seniors: Maggie Cox, Victoria Jacobs, Lindsay Kempf, Jasmine Moses, Nicole Pembleton and Cailey Starck.
"Our seniors have been committed to representing Ball State for four years," Ball State head coach Craig Roberts said. "Please come out and show your appreciation for all they have done. In addition, we are committed to providing our fans a skillful, offensive-minded soccer match."
Saturday's game is also part of Youth Soccer Month. In partnership with Soccer Indiana, Ball State is excited to provide special experiences for young fans.
Youth teams will be running on the field with the starters for both teams, and there will be a halftime scrimmage for youth players. After the game, the soccer team will be signing posters and conducting a clinic for children ages 12 and younger.
