Men Tennis Completes Day Two At Milwaukee Classic

MILWAUKEE, Wis.- The Ball State men's tennis team continued fall action at the 39th annual Milwaukee Tennis Classic Saturday with singles play against Big Ten foe Wisconsin and doubles competition versus Marquette.
Sophomore Lucas Andersen was the lone Cardinal to earn a singles victory over Wisconsin's Jakhongir Jalalove. Andersen took his opponent down in straight sets, 6-3, 6-0. In doubles action, the Cardinals dropped all but one doubles match. Matt Helm paired up with newcomer Jan Jirus and would defat Kystiyan Trukov and Gleb Sklyr, 8-5.
The Ball State men's tennis team will conclude its competition at the 39th annual Milwaukee Tennis Classic Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. (EST) against Wisconsin and 12:00 p.m. (EST) versus Air Force.
