Women?s Golf Seventh After Day One at UNCW

WALLACE, N.C. -- The Ball State women's golf team sits in seventh place after Saturday's two rounds at the UNCW Seahawk Classic.
Meghan Perry leads the Cardinals individually in a tie for 17th at 11-over par 155 (78-77). The Cardinals own a team total of 628 (316-312) with one round left to play at River Landing Golf Club.
Elon leads the nine-team field with a score of 603, followed by Delaware at 607. Delaware is nine shots clear of third place. Lori Beth Adams of tournament host UNC Wilmington owns the individual lead at 1-over 145.
Ball State's Jenna Hague is the second Cardinal on the leaderboard in a tie for 22nd place at 13-over 157 (80-77). Karley Dobis is 27th at 160 (78-82), while Mary Welch (84-77) and Sarah Westaway (80-81) share 28th place at 161.
The tournament will conclude with the third and final round Sunday. The action is set to begin with a shotgun start at 8:45 a.m.
