Women's Golf Ready for Bearcat Classic

The Ball State women's golf team returns to action this week at the University of Cincinnati's Bearcat Classic.
Ball State is one of 15 teams competing at TPC River's Bend in Maineville, Ohio. The Cardinals have been off from competition for two weeks since their own Cardinal Classic.
The tournament opens with 36 holes Monday, beginning with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. The third and final round will be played Tuesday. Live scoring throughout the event will be available at birdiefire.com.
Kelsey Sear, coming off a fourth-place finish at the Cardinal Classic, leads the Ball State lineup into TPC River's Bend. The event features six players competing for each team with the top four scores in each round counting. Ball State's lineup also features Jenna Hague, Allison Lindley, Mary Ellen Romero, Kayla Adamson and Karley Dobis.
The field for the week includes Ball State, Bowling Green, Bradley, Cincinnati, Dayton, Eastern Kentucky, Memphis, Morehead State, Murray State, Ohio, Southern Miss, Toledo, UAB, Wofford and Xavier.
The Bearcat Invitational is one of two events remaining on the fall schedule for Ball State. The Cardinals will wrap up the fall Oct. 17-19 at Indiana's Hoosier Fall Invitational at Purgatory Golf Club in Noblesville, Ind.
