Women?s Golf Ready for Match Play at Purgatory

The Ball State women's golf team wraps up the fall portion of its schedule this weekend down the road in Noblesville at the Hoosier Fall Invitational.
The event, contested this year at Purgatory Golf Club, opens Friday with one round of stroke play. The eight competing teams will then be seeded into a bracket with three rounds of match play to determine a champion by Sunday.
Indiana is the tournament host and is joined in the field by Ball State, Boston College, Eastern Michigan, Fresno State, Illinois, Illinois State and Northern Illinois.
All nine Ball State golfers will compete Friday in the stroke-play portion of the tournament. The Cardinals' five-member lineup for the match play will include Jenna Hague, Allison Lindley, Karley Dobis, Kelsey Sear and Morgan Nadaline.
The stroke-play round begins Friday at 9 a.m. with a split tee start. Two rounds of match play are slated for Saturday with the final matches to be played Sunday. Every team is guaranteed three matches in either the championship or consolation bracket.
