June 16, 2013 | Men's Golf
MUNCIE, Ind. -- All three members of the incoming class for the Ball State men's golf team earned all-state honors last week.
Quentyn Carpenter, Keegan McKinney and Jon Schram were each named all-state by the Indiana High School Golf Coaches Association.
The three golfers, all of whom will be freshmen at Ball State this fall, each competed last week at the Indiana high school state championship at the Legends Golf Club in Franklin, Ind.
McKinney, a senior at Avon High School, posted the best result of the three at the state finals with a tie for seventh place at 2-under par. He helped Avon to a sixth-place finish as a team.
Carpenter was at the state finals with his Triton High School team, while Schram was there with his team from Warsaw High School.
