Jenna Hague at U.S. Women's Amateur Golf Championship

Jenna Hague, who will be a sophomore on the Ball State women's golf team this season, advanced to the match play round of the U.S. Women's Amateur Championship.
Hague tied for 25th in the two rounds of stroke play with a 71-74=145 to become the first Ball State women's golfer to ever advance to the stroke play portion of the U.S. Women's Amateur Championship.
In match play, Hague suffered a 6 & 4 loss to Jaye Marie Green of Boca Raton, Fla.
Earlier this summer, Hague tied for 22nd at the Canadian Women's Amateur Championships and she finished second at the Investors Group Ontario Junior Girls Championship.
A native of Burlington, Ontario, Hague was the 2012 Mid-American Conference Champion as a freshman. She was also named to the All-MAC Second Team and the MAC All-Tournament Team. Hague managed a 77.97 average for the Cardinals as a true freshman in 2011-12.
Rachael Pruett, 2011 graduate of Ball State and four-year member of the women's golf team, qualified for the U.S. Women's Amateur Championships but failed to advance to match play. Pruett, the graduate assistant coach for the Cardinals, managed a 81-78=159 in stroke play competition.
