
Soccer Signs Four Recruits For 2012

MUNCIE, Ind. - Ball State soccer head coach Craig Roberts announced the signing of four student-athletes to national letters of intent Tuesday morning
Ball State added Kaila Mack (Libertyville, Ill./Libertyville), Aubrey Hauenstein (Noblesville, Ind./Noblesville), Ariane Struckmeier (Pattensen, Germany/Humboldtschule Hannover) and Morgan Whitfield (Riverdale, Utah/Bonneville).

Kaila Mack (Libertyville, Ill./Libertyville) - Midfield/Defense Personal: Daughter of Dean and Kathy Mack ... Born November 22, 1993 ... Full name is Kaila Rae Mack ... Has two sisters, Ashley and Sami, and one brother, Jeffrey ... Major is undecided. Coach Roberts on Kaila Mack: "Kaila has been well coached by Rory Dames with Eclipse Select. She is a solid player who can play on the back line or in the midfield. She is tenacious in the air and will certainly be a big threat on set pieces. She has a great understanding of the game and the ability to read situations very well. She is a very hard worker and a leader. I believe these leadership skills, along with her technical and tactical ability, will provide us with what is needed to reach the next level." |

Aubrey Hauenstein (Noblesville, Ind./Noblesville) - Forward High School: Three-year letterwinner at Noblesville for coach Mike Brady ... Led her team to a 41-5-9 record during her career while scoring 31 goals and dishing out 21 assists ... Named Second Team All-State, First Team All-Hamilton County and First Team All-Hoosier Crossroads Conference as a senior when she scored 13 goals and tallied 10 assists ... Led the Millers to a No. 4 final ranking in the state with a 12-2-4 record ... Scored nine goals and handed out eight assists as a junior when she earned Second Team All-District as well as First Team All-Hamilton County and All-Conference honors ... Tallied nine goals and three assists her sophomore year to earn Second Team All-Conference accolades ... Played club soccer for Carmel United Soccer Club for four years for coaches Beth Goetz and Tim Kershaw ... Named to the U-20 Women's State All-Star Team in 2011 ... Played for the Women's team in 2009-10 and 2010-11 ... Led the team to the division championship and a third place league finish last season ... Guided her team to a second round of the DFB-Cup in 2010 ... Played for the girls' U-16 team in 2008 and 2009 ... Led her U-16 team to the division championship in Hannover County in 2009 ...
