
Women's Tennis Races to a 7-0 Win Over Wright State

MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State University women's tennis team captured a 7-0 victory over Wright State Friday evening at the Muncie YMCA Tennis Center. With the win the Cardinals have started the season off with a 3-0 record.
In doubles on court one the duo of Courtney Wild and Kristel Sanders captured an 8-5 victory over Masha Peresetsky and Abby Lewis. Sarah Hebble paired up with Ashlyn Rang at No. 2 doubles for an 8-7 (4) win while Dena Bouliries and Lauren Pickrel were also winners.
After heading into singles play up 1-0 over the Raiders, the Cardinals won all seven of their singles matches with the true freshmen Wild and Rang winning in straight sets along with Paolo Rodriguez.
The Ball State women's tennis team continues home non-conference action at the Muncie YMCA Tennis Center went it hosts Detroit Mercy Friday at 6 p.m.
