Women?s S&D Suffers 185-115 Setback to Toledo

MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State women's swimming & diving team dropped a 185-115 decision to Mid-American Conference opponent Toledo Saturday afternoon at Lewellen Aquatic Center for a 9-2 record on the season
The Cardinals' diving corps, led by senior Christina Riordan (Homewood, Ill./Homewood Flossmoor), posted first-place efforts on the 1-meter board (266.70) and 3-meter board (296.10), while senior Whitney Adams (Danville, Ind./Danville) posted second and third-place showings on the 3-meter (275.62) and 1-meter boards (251.62), respectively.
Sophomore Haley Richter (Roanoke, Ind./Columbia City) followed with a first-place performance in the 200 IM, clocking in at 2:10.91, for Ball State's third individual event victory of the day.
Ball State continues MAC action as the Cardinals head to Athens, Ohio Saturday to face the Ohio Bobcats at 1 p.m.
