Women's Tennis Starts Spring Season with 7-0 Victory

MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State women's tennis team started off the spring season strong with a 7-0 victory over IUPUI at the Muncie YMCA on Wednesday night.
The Cards swept in both the singles and doubles matches. The team of Lauren Pickrel and Dena Boulieris (BSU) defeated IUPUI's Shelby Hullett and Jesika Bays, 8-0. In singles, Sarah Hebble (BSU) beat Abbey Neff in three sets, 5-7, 6-3, 10-1. Dena Boulieris, Paola Rodriguez, Courtney Wild and Kristel Sanders won in two sets.
The Ball State University women's tennis will host Dayton January 26 at the Muncie YMCA. The first match will start at 6 p.m.
