Men's Tennis Loses 6-1 at Northwestern

EVANSTON, Ill. - The Ball State men's tennis team opened the 2012 spring season with a 6-1 loss to Northwestern Sunday afternoon. With the loss the Cardinals fall to 0-1 on the season.
The Cardinals dropped all three doubles matches with the closest match coming between Ball State's No. 1 duo Dalton Albertin and Ray Leonard fell 8-6 to Spencer Wolf and Joshua Graves.
In singles action, Alexandre Brym was the lone winner after defeating Tobias Reitz in straight sets 6-3, 6-2 at the No. 3 spot.
The Ball State men's tennis team continues its two-game Big Ten roadswing at Illinois Friday. The match will begin at 7 p.m.
