Four members of the 2010-11 Ball State women's golf team -- Brittany Kelly, Rachael Pruett, Autumn Duke and Katie Windlan -- received Academic All-Mid-American Conference honors.
Kelly and Pruett were named to the Academic All-MAC Team, while Duke and Windlan received honorable mention.
Kelly owns a 3.644 grade-point average on Ball State's 4.0 scale as a sports administration major. Kelly, who graduated in May, became the first female golfer in Ball State history to advance to the NCAA Regional when she competed at the 2011 NCAA Central Regional Qualifier in Ohio. A 2011 All-MAC First-Team selection, Kelly set the Ball State record for low average in a career with a 76.42 mark.
Pruett tallied a 3.79 GPA as an exercise science major. Her 78.78 career average is second all-time at Ball State, behind only Kelly's mark. Pruett won her first career tournament at the Ball State Cardinal Classic in the fall of 2010 with a 72-70=142.
Duke managed a 3.368 GPA as an exercise science major. She competed in 10 events in 2010-11 and managed a career low 73 at the UNLV Spring Rebel Invitational. Her career low total is a 231 at the UNLV tournament.
Windlan owns a 3.705 mark as a criminal justice major. She was named to the 2011 MAC All-Tournament Team after tying for fifth at the league championships in the spring. Windlan competed in all 11 events as a junior and posted three top-10 finishes for the Cardinals.
