Men?s Tennis Sweeps Chicago State, 7-0

MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State University men's tennis team (12-13, 2-2 MAC) recorded a 7-0 win over Chicago State in Mid-American Conference action Sunday afternoon at the Cardinal Creek Tennis Center.
The Cardinals got off to a strong start in double competition, as their top two doubles tandems earned victories over Chicago State easily 8-2 and 8-1. CSU would forfeit at the No. 3 spot.
Ball State would go on to take the match from Chicago State after sweeping all six doubles matches. Cliff Morrison, Andres Monroy, Shaun Bussert and Derek Carpenter all won in straight sets. Carpenter played at the No. 5 position and did not get a point scored against him.
The Ball State University men's tennis team will close out MAC regular season play when it travels to Buffalo Saturday. The match is set to begin at 1 p.m.
