Men's Tennis Loses at Buffalo, 4-3

BUFFALO, NY - The Ball State University men's tennis team (12-14, 2-3 MAC) lost a close 4-3 match at Buffalo Friday evening.
Dalton Albertin and Cliff Morrison teamed up at No. 1 doubles for the Cardinals as they defeated Buffalo's Wojciech Starakiewicz and Mitch Zenaty by a score of 8-6. The remainder of the Ball State doubles tandems would lose giving Buffalo the doubles point.
In singles action BSU tried to come back as Alexandre Brym tied the match at 1-1 with his two set defeat at No. 4 singles over Marcelo Mazzetto. The Bulls won the next three to go up 4-1 over Ball State. Andres Monroy and Zane Smith closed out the match with victories at the No. 5 and No. 3 positions respectively.
The Ball State University men's tennis team will compete in the Mid-American Conference tournament in Kalamazoo, Mich., which will be hosted by Western Michigan Thursday through Saturday.
