Women's Tennis Loses 5-2 to Toledo

MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State University women's tennis team fell 5-2 to Toledo Saturday afternoon at the Muncie YMCA Tennis Center. With the loss the Cardinals drop to 6-10 overall and 0-2 in the Mid-American Conference.
Ball State dropped all three of its doubles matches falling behind 1-0 to the Rockets early on in the competition. Kristel Sanders defeated Ashley Frey at the No. 2 spot 7-5, 7-5 and Sarah Hebble took down Kelsey Anonsen, 7-6 (4), 6-2.
The Ball State University women's tennis team continues MAC action when it travels to Western Michigan Friday. The match will begin at 1 p.m.
