Brittany Kelly Receives Women's Golf Award from MAC

Brittany Kelly, a senior member of the Ball State women's golf team, was named one of three recipients of the Mid-American Conference's Golfer of the Week awards.
Kelly tied for second at the Rio Verde Invitational with a 74-75-73=222 and helped Ball State to a 10th-place finish in the 17-team event March 4-6. She was six over par in the 90-person tournament and the tie for second was Kelly's fifth top-10 finish of the season. In addition, Kelly tied for 22nd at the UNLV Spring Invitational with a 77-73-72=222. Kelly helped the Cardinals to 12th-place finish at the 15-team event.
She shared this week's honor with Kristen Hill of Akron and Robyn Scott of Eastern Michigan, who also tied for second at the Rio Verde Invitational.
