Women's Tennis Defeats Valparaiso 7-0

In doubles action the No. 3 doubles tandem of Hayley Hall and Paola Rodriguez were the first to win for the Cardinals after defeating Brittany O'Reilly and Aubree Zdanovec by a score of 8-1. The BSU twosome of Kylee Johnson and Kristel Sanders won at No. 2 doubles to give the Cardinals the early 1-0 edge over the Crusaders.
Georgina Thomson knocked off Brittany O'Reilly at No. 1 singles in two sets 6-0,6-0 then Sanders beat Katie Bilyea 6-0, 6-0 at the No. 5 spot and then the rest of the cardinals followed winning the remainder of the singles matches.
The Ball State women's tennis team travels to Chicago Sunday for a 11 a.m. match (EST).
