Women's Tennis Set to Host Fall Invite This Weekend

MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State University women's tennis team is set to host the Ball State Fall Invitational, which will begin Friday and end Saturday. Competition will take place at the Cardinal Creek Tennis Center beginning at 9 a.m. each day.
"I am excited to host this fall invitational at our outstanding facility," said head women's tennis coach Christine Bader. "Looking forward to families, friends, faculty & staff, and BSU students coming out to support the team and watch them compete. There will be some great competition this weekend with the 7 teams coming in."
The first day will consist of one doubles and two singles matches with eight single flights that have eight draws apiece. There will also be four flights of doubles with draws of eight apiece.
The tournament consists of an eight-team field, which includes Ball State, IPFW, IUPUI, Valparaiso, Wright State, Eastern Kentucky University, Dayton and Wright State.
