Women's Tennis Ends Day One of Fall MAC Invite

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Ball State women's tennis team ended its first day of action at the Fall MAC Invitational, hosted by Western Michigan.
The Cardinals lead off with three wins in singles play. In singles flight A, Courtney Wild defeated Sarah McLaughlin (NIU), 6-3, 6-2. Kristel Sanders had a victory over Miloslava Shustova (WMU), 6-1, 6-2. Sarah Hebble had a two set victory over Jade Johnson (BGSU), 6-2, 6-1.
The team of Paola Rodriguez and Kylee Johnson were able to gain a victory against Arantza De La Torre (NIU) and Marcela Rivero (EMU), 9-8, in flight E doubles play.
The Ball State women's tennis team will continue action at the Fall MAC Invitational Saturday in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
