
Gymnastics Team Competes at Maryland

Ball State's gymnastics team travelled to Maryland for a meet which included Towson State. The Cardinals tallied a 189.975, while Maryland won with a 191.975 and Towson State managed a 190.325.
The Cardinals fell to 0-4 overall, while Maryland improved to 4-1 and Towson State improved to 3-1 on the year.
Ball State will compete at Eastern Michigan Jan. 29, and then return home for a Feb. 4 meet vs. Illinois State in Irving Gym. All home meets are free admission.
Nicole Allen placed second on the bars with a 9.650 and second on the floor with a 9.875. In addition, Allen was Ball State's top competitor on the beam with a 9.525. Allen finished second in the all-around with a 38.725.
Brittney Emmons tied for second on the vault with a 9.750 score.
