
Women's Tennis Loses 7-0 At Toledo

TOLEDO, Ohio - The Ball State University women's tennis team fell in Mid-American Conference action to Toledo Friday by a score of 7-0. With the loss, the Cardinals are now 7-13 overall and 1-6 in the MAC.
The Cardinals fell behind early to the Rockets after losing the doubles point. Ball State dropped all three doubles matches, the BSU twosome of Sarah Hebble and Lauren Pickrel came close to victory but lost in a tie breaker.
In singles action Hayley Hall fell in straight sets at the No. 1 slot along with Hebble and Georgina Thomson at their respective positions. Kylee Johnson won her first set 6-4 then dropped the second set 4-6 and would end up losing the tie breaker. Katherine Rist also won her first set 6-4 but fell in the second set 2-6 losing the match in the third 6-3.
The Ball State women's tennis team wraps up MAC regular season action Saturday at Eastern Michigan. The match will begin at 1 p.m.
