Men's Tennis Claims Win At MAC Rival WMU

After losing the doubles point the Cardinals trailed the Broncos 1-0 but rebounded back taking four of the six singles matches from WMU.
Junior Eduardo Pavia tied the match 1-1 after managing a 6-2, 6-1 win over Kazuya Komada at No. 1 singles. Sophomore Cliff Morrison then gave BSU the 2-1 advantage with his three set No. 2 singles defeat over Michael Calderone. Sophomore Shaun Bussert followed Ball State's winning ways after beating Zeyad Montasser in three sets allowing the Cardinals to increase their lead to 3-1 over the Broncos.
WMU made it a 3-2 match after winning at No. 5 singles but sophmore Andres Monroy came back in his contest after being down a set at the No. 3 slot to give Ball State the victory.
The Ball State University men's tennis team travels to Notre Dame Wednesday with a 3 p.m. start before returning home to Cardinal Creek Tennis Center Saturday as they host Buffalo at noon.
