Women's Golf Finishes Sixth at Georgia State

Ball State's women's golf team, under the direction of head coach Katherine Mowat, finished sixth out of 13 teams at the John Kirk/Panther Intercollegiate in Stockbridge, Ga.
The Cardinals tallied a 312-314-320=946. The tournament host, Georgia State, won the event with a 905 team score.
Brittany Kelly led Ball State with a tie for seventh. Kelly managed a 77-73-78=228 at the event.
Rachael Pruett tied for 15th with a 77-77-78=232, while Kristtini Cain tallied a 79-84-80=232 to tie for 42nd.
Kirsty O'Connor managed an 84-82-84=250, and Katie Windlan added a 79-82-89=250.
The 13-team event featured the Cardinals along with the host Georgia State and Arkansas State, Arkansas-Little Rock, Augusta State, Tennessee-Chattanooga, Daytona State, Florida International, Murray State, South Alabama, Texas State, Troy and Xavier.
The tournament was played at the par-72, 6,047-yard Eagle's Landing Country Club.
