
Women's Tennis Loses At DePauw

GREENCASTLE, Ind. - The Ball State women's tennis team fell to 6-6 overall after dropping its match on the road to DePauw Tuesday. The Cardinals lost by a score of 5-4.
The Cardinals dropped all three of their doubles matches to give DePauw the early 1-0 edge heading into singles play.
Hayley Hall captured a 6-3, 6-0 win over Janelle Arita at No. 1 singles. Georgina Thomson took a three set match (6-1, 2-6, 6-3) victory over Georgina Thomson at No. 3. Kylee Johnson and Sarah Hebble were also winners on the day.
DePauw is a NCAA Division III school and the match was played by those rule which is the best of nine points (three doubles and six singles). DePauw is currently No. 8 in its division.
The Ball State women's tennis program will play at St. Louis Thursday at Noon (CT).
