Women's Golf Ties for Fourth at MAC Tourney Preview

Ball State's women's golf team, under the direction of head coach Katherine Mowat, tied for fourth at the Mid-American Conference Tournament Preview at Longaberger Golf Course in Nashport, Ohio.
Western Michigan won the event with a 308-316=624, Akron was second with a 632 and Toledo was third at 637. Ball State tied with Ohio with a 648. The Cardinals, who won last year's MAC Tournament Preview, at The Hawthorns Country Club in Fishers, Ind., tallied a 321-327.
Brittany Kelly tied for fourth overall with a 74-79=153, while Rachael Pruett tied for 15th with an 82-80=162. Katie Windlan tied for 21st with an 80-83=163, while Sarah Westaway and Meghan Perry tied for 41st. Westaway carded an 86-85=171 and Perry managed an 85-86=171.
Autumn Duke, who competed as an individual at the tournament, tied for 36th with an 84-85=169.
Ball State was joined at the event by Akron, Bowling Green, Cleveland State, Eastern Michigan, Northern Illinois, Ohio, Western Michigan, Toledo and Xavier and is hosted by Akron.
