Women's Tennis Hosts Fall Invitational This Weekend

MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State University women's tennis team opens the 2009 fall season by hosting the Ball State Invitational this weekend (Sept. 18-19). Competition will take place at Cardinal Creek Tennis Center, weather permitting.
This intivitational consists of eight NCAA Division I teams. Ball State, Butler, Bradley, Dayton, Eastern Illinois, Northern Illinois, Wisconsin-Milwaukee and Wright State.
The tournament consists of four flights of singles with draws of 16 apiece. There will also be four flights of doubles with pool play in each flight.
Head coach Kathy Bull begins her 22nd season at the helm of the Cardinals.
