Brittany Kelly Wins Women's Golf State Amateur

Five members of the Ball State University women's golf team are competed at the Indiana Women's Golf Association State Amateur Championship at Otter Creek Golf Club in Columbus, Ind., and Brittany Kelly won the event by five strokes.
Kelly, who will be a junior for the Cardinals this fall, carded a 77-67-72=216 to win the event. Her second round 67 was the lowest round of the entire tournament. Kelly finished fourth in the State Amateur in 2008 and tied for seventh in 2007.
Junior Rachael Pruett tied for fifth after firing a 78-76-72=226. Sophomore Kristtini Cain finished ninth after managing an 80-77-71=228.
Katie Windlan, who will be a sophomore in the fall, tied for 37th after carding an 84-82-81=247. Incoming Ball State freshman Autumn Duke tied for 51st with an 86-87-82=255.
