
Men's Tennis Falls To Sacramento State, 6-1

BOISE, Idaho - The Ball State University men's tennis team fell to Sacramento State 6-1 Saturday afternoon at the Boise State Invitational. With the loss the Cardinals drop to 9-8 on the season while Sacramento State improves to 11-5.
Ball State started out losing the doubles point dropping two of its three matches. The twosome of sophomore Eduardo Pavia and senior Jorge Rodriguez remained perfect at the invitational in doubles play after their 8-0 defeat over Anton Stryhas and Kiryl Harbatsiuk.
In singles action the lone Cardinal to come up with a victory was freshman Cliff Morris who earned a 6-3, 7-6 (7-3) victory over Sacramento State's Holen Ching at No. 3.
The Ball State University men's tennis team continues its competition on the road when it faces Mid-American Conference opponent Buffalo Friday at 5 pm in Buffalo, NY.
