Men's Tennis Wins 5-2 At Indiana State

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The Ball State University men's tennis team earned a 5-2 victory at Indiana State Sunday afternoon. The Cardinals improve their overall record to 8-6 while the Sycamores fall to 0-10 on the season.
Ball State went ahead of Indiana State after sweeping the double point. The freshmen duo of Zane Smith and Jon Wegener captured the first double win for the Cardinals at No. 3 after posting a 3-4 defeat over Michael Wenham and Blake Douglas. BSU went on to claim victories at the No. 1 and then closed out with the win at No. 3 for the doubles sweep.
The Cardinals won all but two singles matches to earn the victory over the Sycamores. Senior Jose Perdomo, freshmen Andres Monroy, Cliff Morrison and Derek Carpenter were all winners for the day.
Ball State men's tennis travels to Boise State, March 27 for the Boise State Invitational.
