
Men's Tennis Loses 5-2 At No. 59 UNLV

LAS VEGAS, Nevada - The Ball State University men's tennis team fell 5-2 to No. 59 UNLV Thursday at the Fertitta Tennis Complex. With the loss the Cardinals falls to 7-6 overall.
In doubles action the Ball State twosome of Jose Perdomo and Zane Smith captured the lone doubles win of the day with an 8-3 defeat over Mehdi Bouras and Attila Toth.
Eduardo Pavia and teammate Shaun Bussert each captured singles victories over the UNLV. Pavia defeated Bouras at No. 2 singles 7-5, 3-6, 1-0 (10-8) and Bussert won 6-1, 6-2 over Nikolaj Wulff at No. 6.
The Ball State men's tennis team faces Indiana State Sunday in Terre Haute at 1 p.m.
