MUNCIE, Ind. ? The Ball State University women's basketball and tennis teams will be participating in the Think Pink weekend to raise awareness on the court and in the community on breast cancer.
The Think Pink weekend begins Saturday as the Ball State women's basketball team takes on Ohio University in Worthen Arena for a 1 p.m. tipoff. The Cardinals will be wearing their Pink Yow warm-ups.
In the help to support against cancer, Ball State athletics will be selling pink women's basketball t-shirts for $10 and cups for $2. Senior guard Porchia Green's jersey will be up for silent auction. The Cardinals will also be accepting donations. All proceeds will benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
On Sunday the women's tennis team will host Bradley at the Muncie YMCA Tennis Center with the match beginning at 1 p.m. The women's tennis team will be wearing pink t-shirts which can also be purchased with a $10 donation.
