Women's Golf Seventh at Penn State Nittany Lion Invitational

Ball State's women's golf team finished seventh at the Penn State Nittany Lion Invitational.
The Cardinals tallied a 311-308-317=936, while Rollins College won the event with a 909.
Brittany Kelly finished eighth after carding a 76-73-76=225. Rachael Pruett tied for 33rd with a 75-78-84=237.
Katie Windlan and Kirsty O'Connor tied for 42nd. Windlan tallied an 80-80-80=240, while O'Connor managed an 80-81-79=240. Kristtini Cain carded an 83-77-82=242 to tie for 52nd at the event.
Joining Ball State at the tournament were Boston College, Bucknell, Eastern Michigan, Longwood, Maryland, Monmouth, Penn State, Princeton, Richmond, Rollins, Rutgers, UNC-Greensboro, Western Michigan, William & Mary, Yale and Youngstown State.
Ball State will return closer to home when it competes in the Mid-American Conference Tournament Preview hosted by Toledo at The Hawthorns Country Club in Fishers, Ind., Oct. 12-13.
