Women's Tennis Ends Action At Fall Invite

MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State University women's tennis team wrapped up its last day of action at the Ball State Fall Invitational Saturday evening at Cardinal Creek Tennis Center.
Freshman Sarah Hebble (Sellersburg, Ind./Silver Creek) earned a 7-6, 7-6 (8-6) victory over Ashley Schoneman of Wisconsin Milwaukee in the flight B singles bracket. Teammate Dena Boulieris (Lakeforest, Ill./Libertyville) captured a 6-4, 6-3 win over Kelly O'Connel of Dayton in flight C singles.
In doubles action the twosome of Georgina Thomson (Sydney, Australia/St. Margaret's) and Hebble defeated Presti and Webb of Wright State, 8-4. Rachel Surowiec (LaPorte, Ind./IPFW) and Kimberly Robbins (Littleton, Colo./JK Mullen) earned the 8-5 win over Butler's Hayward and Panawash.
The Cardinals continue fall action at Cincinnati (Oct. 3-6).
