Women's Tennis Hosts Ball State Fall Invitational, Sept. 26-27

MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State University women's tennis team opens the 2008 fall season by hosting the Ball State Invitational this weekend (Sept. 26-27). Competition will take place at Cardinal Creek Tennis Center and Northside Middle School, weather permitting.
This invitational consists of eight NCAA Division I teams. Ball State welcomes Northern Illinois, IPFW, IUPUI, Butler, Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Dayton and Bradley.
The tournament consists of four flights of singles with draws of 16 apiece. There will also be four flights of doubles with pool play in each flight.
Head coach Kathy Bull begins her 21st season at the helm of the Cardinals.
"I am looking forward to seeing how this team reacts to this level of competition and who will have the ability to step up and show leadership," said Bull.
