MUNCIE, Ind. - Senior Jennifer Pollack (Memphis, Tenn./White Station) of the Ball State University women's tennis team has been named to the Academic All-Mid-American Conference team.
Pollack, a co-captain of the 2008 Cardinals is a four-year recipient of the Presidential Scholarship and the Lowell F. Crouse Journalism Scholarship. Pollack opened the fall with a tournament championship in her respective flight at the Memphis Invitational. She opened the spring with back-to-back victories against Dayton and Wright State at No. 3 singles. Pollack also posted non-conference wins over Valparaiso and Youngstown State. In league action, Pollack captured wins over Akron and Northern Illinois. She also played at No. 1 doubles with teammate Haly Calderwood.
The Ball State women's tennis team ended its season at the MAC Tournament in Buffalo April 25.
