Andrew Rhodes, a junior member of the Ball State University men's golf team, has been selected as the Mid-American Conference Men's Golfer of the Week by the league office.
Rhodes (Sweetser, Ind./Oak Hill H.S.) was selected for his performance at the Marshall Invitational April 5. The originally scheduled 54-hole event was reduced to a one-day 36-hole tournament due to inclement weather.

This marked the first time Rhodes has received the league's weekly award. Rhodes is in his first season of competition with the Cardinals. The 14th place tie matched his best individual finish of the season. He also tied for 14th at the John Piper Intercollegiate Sept. 10-11 in his collegiate debut.
Rhodes ranks third for the Cardinals this season with a 74.43 average.
