
Softball Falls To Bowling Green 3-0

Kathryn Wilczynski led the Cardinals going 2-for-3 at the plate.
Dawnjene DeLong led off the game with a double for BGSU. Hayley Wiemer also hit a double in the first inning to give the Falcons a 1-0 lead.
Emily Gouge hit a double to center field to allow Allison Vallas to score putting BGSU on top 2-0.
The Falcons final run of the game came in the fifth inning when Wiemer hit a single to right field. Wiemer finished the day 2-for-3 with two RBI.
Alyssa Collins, Abby Gross and Amanda Pick all recorded hits for the Cardinals, but it wasn't enough as the Falcons improve to 3-2 in Mid-American Conference play, while the Cardinals fall to 4-3.
Elizabeth Milian took the loss on the mound for Ball State. Milian allowed only six hits, and stuck out nine batters.
