
Men's Golf Finishes 11th at Kentucky Invitational

The Ball State University men's golf team finished 11th out of 17 teams at the Kentucky Bluegrass Invitational hosted by the University of Kentucky in Lexington.
Central Florida won the tournament with a three-round total of 899, while Ball State managed a 320-305-314=939.
Ball State's Brian Maurer tied for 12th with an 81-75-70=226. His 70 was the lowest third round score in the 96-man field.
Eric Steger tied for 46th with a 77-77-81=235. Andrew Rhodes managed a 79-72-86=237, Ross Cosat carded an 83-83-80=246 and Eric Skillman registered an 84-81-83=248.
Ball State will compete at the Rutherford Intercollegiate at the Penn State Blue Golf Course in University Park, Pa., Saturday and Sunday.
